Fostering is a simple, direct way to make a lasting impact. By opening your home to a pet in need on a temporary basis, you provide the love, care, and stability they need while they wait for their forever home. Even a short foster stay can make a lifetime of difference.
Airport pick ups
Because we are a foster-based rescue, all of our fosters are asked to assist with occasional airport pickups when puppies arrive from St. Croix. These airport runs are a critical part of our rescue process, helping ensure each puppy is safely welcomed, transported, and settled into foster care while they await their forever home. By participating in airport pickups, our fosters play a direct role in saving lives and helping dogs begin their journey to a better future.
Meet & Greets
Our fosters play an important role in helping potential adopters get to know our dogs. Once an application is approved, fosters may help coordinate and participate in meet-and-greets to ensure a good match for both the dog and adopter.
If you currently have dogs in your home, we encourage you to bring them to the meet-and-greet at a neutral location. This allows everyone to interact in a comfortable environment and helps us assess compatibility before the adoption is finalized. Our goal is to set both your new addition and your existing pets up for long-term success.
